| This program provides students with the base knowledge, skills, and work experience (preceptorship) to become permanently employable in various medical settings. This program is designed to provide employment ready, comprehensively trained graduates. Successful graduates will be eligible to achieve the CMAP® – Certified Medical Assisting Professional designation in addition to their diploma. These graduates are fully qualified to work in a hands on administrative/clinical support capacity in any medical field. |

A good understanding of the English language; a Canadian High School Diploma verified by a transcript with 50% or better in English, or out-of-country equivalent, or successful completion of the General Equivalency Diploma (GED) with a standard score of 50 or better in English. |
